Every event we host is designed with intention, from the atmosphere we create to the way each session flows.
Then We Run
After Cozumel, the next chapter begins.
The bike gets a break. The swim goggles get put away.
And we RUN.
In early 2027, the focus shifts to the final two races of my Abbott World Marathon Majors Six Star journey:
Tokyo Marathon — March 2027
London Marathon — April 2027
Two marathons.
Two final stars.
And, if everything goes according to plan, one Six Star Medal waiting at the finish line in London.
The journey in real time
This is where you get the real story.
Right now, that story is IRONMAN Cozumel.
On November 22, 2026, at 55 years old, I’m attempting my first full IRONMAN:
2.4-mile swim.
112-mile bike.
26.2-mile run.
140.6 miles.
And getting to that starting line has already been one hell of an adventure.
Right Now: Becoming an IRONMAN
Running is the part I know.
Swimming in the open ocean and learning to become a cyclist? Those have been completely different stories.
This is where I’m sharing what actually happens while training for something that scares me — the progress, the fear, the ridiculous moments, the breakthroughs, and the days when I seriously question why I thought this was a good idea.
There will be long rides, open-water swims, runs on tired legs, training adventures, setbacks, victories, and probably a few more stories that begin with, “Well… this seemed like a good idea at the time.”
I’m not trying to make the journey look perfect.
I want to show what it actually takes to start with something you’re not very good at, keep showing up, and see what happens.
Everything In Between
This blog won’t only be training numbers and race results.
It’s also where I’ll share the Work • Run • Give projects, fundraising milestones, people I meet, supporters who become part of the journey, travel, race weekends and all the unexpected things that happen along the way.
Some days will be incredible.
Some days will be a complete disaster.
Most will probably fall somewhere in between.
That’s the story I want to tell.
Because the finish-line photo is only one moment.
This is everything it takes to get there.
